Privacy

The map runs in your browser, with no account and no cookies. Below is everything that reaches us or the services the site uses.

Map settings

The chosen mushroom, city, range and layer are stored only in your browser (localStorage) so the map opens the way you left it. They are not sent anywhere.

Visit statistics

Visits are counted with Umami Cloud: no cookies and no user identifier. We see the number of visits, pages, referrer, country, device type and two events: sharing and sending feedback.

Feedback form

If you send feedback, we store on our server (Hetzner, Finland, EU) the message, the contact you give (optional), the city and spot selected on the map, attached photos and your IP address (spam protection). The message is also e-mailed to the site author (Gmail). It is used only to reply and to improve the map. Ask through the same form and we will delete your message and photos.

Third-party services

The base map comes from OpenFreeMap and the MapLibre library from cdnjs (Cloudflare). As with any file download, those servers see your IP address. Google Maps links open Google only when you click them.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data — write through the feedback form on the map.
